Russell & Hill, PLLC Scholarship Program

The attorneys and staff at Russell & Hill, PLLC, work diligently to help our clients who have been injured in car crashes and other types of accidents that were caused by someone else’s negligence. We help our clients by proving that safety rules were violated and that a settlement should be paid. This, in turn, makes all of us safer. We are dedicated to helping our clients navigate these difficult situations and protecting the safety of our community. We’ve designed this scholarship to award to a student whose submission demonstrates an understanding and appreciation for the type of work we do.

Here at Russell & Hill, PLLC, we’ve taken notice of the electric scooters that have been popping up in our local communities and throughout the country. For some, e-scooters are fun, economical and Earth-conscious modes of transportation. Critics, however, have concerns about public safety, law enforcement and vandalism. Where do you stand on the controversial e-scooter debate? What responsibilities do e-scooter companies, riders, local law enforcement agencies, city governments and the public-at-large have if e-scooters are to remain a viable option in our communities? This debate has garnered plenty of recent media attention, so use examples to defend your stance in your choice of a 500-word written essay or a two-minute video essay.
