Everett City code clearly states that electric scooters cannot be ridden on the sidewalks. Yet every day, e-scooters zoom along city sidewalks because most people have not made sure they know the law before renting a LIME electric scooter.

E-scooter drivers in the City of Everett must also wear a helmet and they can only be ridden from ½ hour before sunrise to ½ hour after sunrise. They are not allowed to exceed 15 miles per hour, cannot be ridden on any city street that has a posted speed of over 25 mph, and all riders must be age 16 or older.

If you have any feedback for the City of Everett regarding your thoughts about electric scooters, you can submit feedback at Everett City Feedback re scooters.
