Attorneys Matt Russell, Jim Hill and the Russell & Hill team will be attending the 2018 Washington State Traumatic Brain Injury Conference to engage with the local community about brain wellness. During the conference, Russell & Hill, PLLC, will be stationed at an exhibitor table where they can be reached with questions about the representation they provide for victims of traumatic brain injuries.
Washington’s annual TBI Conference, held from May 29 to May 30, 2018, is an excellent educational opportunity for all in the community. Its organizers include:
- The Brain Injury Alliance of Washington
- The Brain Energy Support Team
- The TBI Survivors Network
Keynote speakers include industry leaders Rolf B. Gainer, Ph.D., who authored “Finding Self and Social Role Return: The Work of Brain Injury Recovery;” and Muriel Lezak, Ph.D., who wrote “TBI is a Family Affair: Caregiving.”
Also attending are TBI survivors, Joan Miller, author of “Learning to Make Toast,” and Cheryle Sullivan, M.D. and writer of “The Brain Injury Survival Kit,” both of whom will also be giving keynote speeches.
Hope for the Future at the Washington State TBI Conference
The theme of this year’s conference is: “Forging New Pathways, Navigating New Dreams,” and it will include the following five tracks for attendees to follow:
- Adults with TBI
- Support for Caregivers
- Military and Veterans Issues
- Supporting Teens and Young Adults with TBI
- Professional Interests
