  • The TBI Survivors Network

Keynote speakers include industry leaders Rolf B. Gainer, Ph.D., who authored “Finding Self and Social Role Return: The Work of Brain Injury Recovery;” and Muriel Lezak, Ph.D., who wrote “TBI is a Family Affair: Caregiving.”

Also attending are TBI survivors, Joan Miller, author of “Learning to Make Toast,” and Cheryle Sullivan, M.D. and writer of “The Brain Injury Survival Kit,” both of whom will also be giving keynote speeches.

Hope for the Future at the Washington State TBI Conference

The theme of this year’s conference is: “Forging New Pathways, Navigating New Dreams,” and it will include the following five tracks for attendees to follow:

  • Adults with TBI
  • Support for Caregivers
  • Military and Veterans Issues
  • Supporting Teens and Young Adults with TBI
  • Professional Interests

The team at Russell & Hill, PLLC, has extensive experience with TBI cases and is committed to educating the local community about the need for endocrinological and neurological testing and treatment following a TBI.

Recognizing the theme of this year’s conference is hope for the future, Russell & Hill, PLLC, will be running an exhibitor table in order to help victims of TBI – and their caregivers – understand how they can mitigate the financial burden of long-term care. The team at Russell & Hill, PLLC, will help guide attendees toward their best legal options, especially if the victim was involved in an accident under no fault of their own.

If you would like to attend the conference, there are a limited number of scholarships available for individuals with TBI and/or unpaid caregivers of individuals with TBI.
