This is an odd incident
Last month, a vehicle crashed through a window at an LA Fitness center in North Seattle. Not only did it crash through the window, but it went right into the swimming pool. Nobody was injured in the incident, including the driver. No charges or citations are expected to be filed.
“Apparently, a 70-year-old male was attempting to set the parking brake while in the parking lot but hit the gas pedal instead, causing the car to go through the window and into the pool,” said Seattle Police spokesman Mark Jamieson.
There were three people in the pool at the time this incident occurred. We are glad they are okay, but we are sure they had a scare. One of the people in the pool swam over to help the driver get out of the car.
